You Little Gem Clinic ◇ Benign Skin Lesion Removal

Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling

Appointment and deposit policy

Important: A £20 deposit is required to secure an appointment. By paying the deposit and confirming a booking, you agree to this policy.

1. Booking and deposit

Appointments are only confirmed once You Little Gem Clinic has accepted the requested date and time and the £20 deposit has been received.

The deposit is applied to the amount due for the appointment. The £20 consultation fee is separate and is not deducted from the cost of removal.

2. Cancelling or rescheduling

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. With at least 48 hours’ notice, the deposit may be transferred once to another suitable appointment or refunded on request.

A further deposit may be required if an appointment is changed more than once.

3. Late cancellation and missed appointments

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or you do not attend, the deposit will normally be retained because the clinic time may not be filled at short notice. A new £20 deposit will be required before another appointment is confirmed.

Exceptional circumstances will be considered fairly and at Gemma’s discretion.

4. Late arrival

Please arrive at the agreed time. If you are late, the appointment may need to be shortened or rearranged so that later patients are not delayed. Treatment will not be rushed where this could affect assessment, consent or safety.

If there is not enough time to proceed safely, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and a new deposit may be required.

5. If You Little Gem Clinic cancels

If the clinic needs to cancel or rearrange your appointment, you will be offered another suitable time or a full refund of the deposit. You Little Gem Clinic is not responsible for indirect costs such as travel, childcare or time away from work.

6. Suitability for treatment

Paying a deposit does not guarantee that treatment will proceed. Every lesion must be assessed first. If treatment is not clinically appropriate, Gemma will explain the next step. The consultation fee remains payable where a professional assessment has been completed.

7. Cooling-off period

You are welcome to take time after your consultation to consider the proposed treatment. Your consultation and treatment plan remain valid for four weeks.

If treatment is booked more than four weeks after your consultation, a further consultation and fee may be required to reassess the lesion and confirm that treatment remains suitable.

8. How to contact us

To cancel or rearrange, message 07792 035858 on WhatsApp or email youlittlegem@outlook.com. Notice is measured from the time your message is received.
